"As we reveled in the festivities of the 5th anniversary of BCIS, it took me back to a day in late August, 2005. Only 24 hours before 'School Opening Ceremony' and we, a group of teachers, were watching with concern the construction workers busy inside the still unfinished school building. Every one of us was thinking the same thing: Will the school be ready in time?

The school was more than ready and that was not the only time that BCIS lived up to its promises. Over the last 5 years I have experienced innumerable times the extent of this school's vision and the depth of its integrity. When BCIS says something would be done, it not only gets done, it gets done in style!!

For me, working here is a treat, despite the hard work and long hours I put in. As a teacher, I couldn't ask for more. As a parent, I know my son, here in Grade 11, has the opportunity to reach his potential.
