Admissions Procedure

  • Obtain registration forms by downloading from this website or by contacting the Admissions Office at admissions@bcis.cn.
  • After submitting the registration forms, required documents, and the registration fee, the student will be placed on our registration list. Please refer to the Admissions Checklist for the information required.
  • Parents will receive an e-mail advising them about their child's admission status or scheduled appointment for entrance interview.
  • No decision on enrollment will be made until all required documents (including school records) are submitted. Additional information may be required on a case-by-case basis.
  • The grade level of a student is only confirmed after the entrance test and interview are conducted.
  • Students will be placed in a grade level that is age appropriate for them. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the Principal.
  • At BCIS, we practice a non-discriminatory admissions policy. However, we reserve the right not to accept students who do not satisfy our entry requirements.
  • Applicants who cannot be admitted into BCIS due to lack of vacancies will be placed on our waiting list. Priority will be given to these applicants as vacancies arise.
  • Children who enrol at BCIS from schools with different school calendars (eg. January to November vs. August to June) will be placed in the grade they are currently attending (if enrolled in the beginning of the BCIS school year), or in the grade which he/she has just completed if enrolled in the second semester in BCIS.
