Scholarship Programme

Beijing City International School (BCIS) is delighted to announce we are now accepting applications for our highly regarding scholarship programs for the academic year 2012/2013. The purpose of the BCIS Scholarship Program is to promote academic excellence and to nurture exceptional talent. BCIS scholarships are awarded to distinguished students irrespective of their families’ financial status. Scholarships are normally awarded to students in their final three years of school, but exceptional students aged at least 13 years by October 31st of the relevant school year may be considered. This year, BCIS is awarding two kinds of scholarship: academic scholarships and merit scholarships, which are intended to inspire and nurture exceptional talents. Academic scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of competitive examinations (in English, Mathematics, and Science) and interview. Merit scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of evidence of high achievement and outstanding potential in a specific area of endeavor, academic or non-academic; they will be offered in any of the following four areas: Visual or Performing arts, Technology, Mathematics, and Science. There are seventeen new scholarships available: 10 full awards (100% of tuition fee made) and 7 partial (50% of tuition fee made). If you think you have what it takes to be a BCIS scholar, then get in touch and apply at admissions@bcis.cn or on +86 010 8771 7171. We challenge you to excel. |
