When the student is ready to pay, he or she will pass the card through a magnetic field and their consumptions will be de- ducted from their balance. No cash sales are allowed in our cafeterias, and students must carry their cards all the time for purchasing items. It is recommended that this card should not be borrowed and it should have sufficient balance at the time to purchase and to speed up the service. We recommend maintaining a balance between 100RMB to 200RMB in order to avoid interruptions of our services. The minimum load is 50RMB per time. Elementary School students keep their cards with their Teachers and TA’s in order to avoid lost. All Lost cards must be replaced at Eurest immediately. How to add/load money to my card?No cash payments are allowed while purchasing Eurest food. Adding money to lunch cards can be easily done in the cafeteria for MS and HS school students during operation time, preferably not during lunchtime to avoid interruptions. As for Kindergarten and Primary, money can be sent to your child’s teacher who can load it for you. When money is added to your child’s balance, he or she will receive an invoice informing how much money was loaded. All consumptions are recorded in our database which can be requested at the school cafeteria or found online at the BCIS website under Services Food Services Eurest consumer Enquires. Eurest will notify students when the balance is low and below 100 RMB. So you can send the money to top-up your child’s card. This notification will be sent via hard copies and emails. However, we suggest your check your balance frequently in order to avoid food service interruptions. And to be aware of A La Carte choices your children are making in US cafeteria. For further information on payment flexibilities please refer to our Loading Policy at BCIS website. What to do if I lose or damage the lunch card?If you lose your lunch card immediately inform our cashiers in order to block the card in case someone else uses it. You will not loose your balance in case you damage or loose your lunch card. Previous balance can be transferred to the new card. Note: New Cards can be issued by our on-site staff at the Elementary School Cafeteria. Cards are 30 RMB and charged to the users account. Do not replacement, heat, pierce or cut your lunch card to avoid damage to the cards. |
