Meet Our Students

Meet our students

Students are the center of everything we do here at BCIS.

BCIS students come from more than 36 different countries and regions of the world. They bring with them different linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds to BCIS, where they share one thing in common – an outstanding educational experience for everyone.

The BCIS mission is to educate and empower students to be compassionate and inspired people, who act for the good of all and for the sustainable development of the world. Our students are encouraged to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective. With the intellectual, social, and emotional development as well as the international and intercultural awareness and understanding that are nurtured in this truly international learning environment, our students will be the leading talents for the 21st century.

At BCIS we believe that learning comes in many different ways. Our students are not only active in classrooms, but also in extra-curricular activities and community involvements. You see them in the sports arena, on the stage, in student councils, at charity events, and community services. Age does not matter when it comes to confidence, leadership and social responsibilities.

Come…

Inspire others,

Achieve your goals,

Create a better world… with BCIS!

BCIS Founder's Scholar

"The BCIS mission is “Empowering and inspiring through challenge and compassion,” performing has always been challenging for me as it is hard to try different genres of music as well as standing up in front of an audience. Since receiving my BCIS Founder's Scholarship award, I have tried many different genres of music and tried performing in front of more audiences, which shows me challenging myself. Through this, I hope to empower other performers to do the same."

BCIS Founder's Scholar

"I really can’t verbally express how much I really appreciatie the BCIS Founder’s Scholarship award, which has allowed me to complete my IB Diploma and high school studies at BCIS. Thanks to the scholarship, my family and I could make the decision to let me stay back in Beijing with a homestay family and guardian, which has developed my independence as a young adult, preparing me for challenges that I will face in the future after BCIS. I would like to say thank you to our founder, Mr. Ni Hao Hua, for being beyond my benefactor, a savior of my future."

BCIS Hua Hong Scholar

"Throughout the course of these two years after being granted with this BCIS Hua Hong scholarship to attend BCIS I have grown immensely as a student and athlete. I have learned what it takes to lead and what it takes to thrive. Words cannot explain how incredibly grateful I am for this experience and for becoming a part of the BCIS family. I did not realise how much I have grown throughout these two years until I took the chance to look back at who I was then, and who I am now. This gift I have been granted cannot be repaid because I have improved as an individual because of the opportunities I was given being able to attend BCIS."
