BCIS MASCOT REVEALED - GO WARRIORS!

Dennis Wang

Beijing City International School (BCIS) is proud to announce the unveiling of our new mascot - the BCIS Warrior horse! This mascot will be worn proudly on our sports uniforms, seen across our social media and will represent BCIS to the wider community.

Initially inspired by the famed terracotta army unearthed in the tomb of China's first emperor, the new official BCIS Warrior draws on the courage, integrity, diligence and power horses represented in ancient China.

In 2018, a group of secondary students were challenged to draft various designs for the BCIS Warrior horse that not only represented our Chinese roots but the core values of the school as well. A student's initial design was chosen and developed to reflect the type of empowered and inspired learners we want to be, resulting in the mighty BCIS Warrior unveiled today.
