As the Early Childhood Center of Beijing City International School, the Early Childhood Center embodies the school’s mission and vision: to challenge and empower students to be compassionate and inspired individuals who act for the good of all and contribute to the sustainable development of the world.
Located in the heart of Beijing’s CBD, the Early Childhood Center is a purposefully designed “Children’s City” for students aged 2 to 6. With more than 20,000 square meters of learning space, it is the first LEED Gold-certified school campus in Beijing, offering an open, safe, and inspiring environment where children can explore, connect, and grow.
As an authorized IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme, the Center embraces an inquiry-based, play-based approach to learning that nurtures each child’s natural curiosity and creativity. Through meaningful play, inquiry, and real-world experiences, children actively construct their understanding of the world while developing the skills and dispositions needed for the future.
Since opening in 2014, the Early Childhood Center has been committed to providing an international, professional, and future-focused early years education.
