FIRST PTA RUMMAGE SALE A SUCCESS

Greg Choi

The very first rummage sale recently organized by the BCIS PTA was held to great cheers. Over 500 attendees came and had an exciting time browsing items and purchasing gently used, yet excellent goods. More importantly, the community came together to have a wonderful time, enjoying each other's company and enjoying the festivities while wearing fun costumes. Ms. Karen Lee, PTA President, said PTA members Channy Rhodes and Doreen Nisha especially worked hard to make this gathering spectacular. She also shared these words about the community event.

The first PTA rummage sale was a success! First, we would like to thank Julie, our Head of School, for giving us the green light to go ahead with this event. She gave us a great opportunity to come together and have an enjoyable time together. We would also like to thank the Marketing Team and the Properties and Management Team for their time and efforts in supporting the PTA. The turnout of the event was great truly because our BCIS community is awesome! Overall, we received a lot of positive feedback, even from students who commented is a fun event. Therefore, we would love to hold another similar event again. Thank you to all the participants for taking the time to join us. We thank each and every one that attended the event."

Indeed, this famous quote by Ms. Helen Keller sums up what the BCIS community is:

"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
