DIVE IN!

Fei Gao

At Beijing City International School (BCIS) opportunities for social growth, where students engage with like-minded community members result from rich, authentic encounters. A large portion of these opportunities are afforded through sporting engagements and physical education (P.E.), in class or Enrichment Activities (EA). Our BCIS students are lucky fish who enjoy swimming throughout the year on campus – a definite highlight in their school timetable, weekends, and holidays!

BCIS' competitive swimmers, the Water Warriors, are an eager team of grade 2 to 12 swimmers. BCIS Swimming is also officially approved by USA Swimming and is the host school for the SWIMS individual meet time inclusion service for China's amateur swimmers who are looking further into the much-loved sport.

Together with our P.E. Department and LJ Swimming, water provides a unique sensory experience for our students. Our students' regular immersion benefits their emotional, physical, and cognitive development all while gaining the confidence to keep themselves safe in water and having heaps of fun!
