Shu Qi lived in Oxford, Michigan before settling down in Beijing in 2019，as headmaster of a local school. She enjoys being an educator and a parent in her life journey. She joined the BCIS PTA in 2020 and was nominated as President of the PTA in 2021. With passion and love, Shu is grateful for all the support from families in the BCIS community and the school, and is always excited to embrace and celebrate the diversity and spirit of our community. As a mom of three children in ES and ECC, Peiyu has been a part of the BCIS community for six years. As the Secretary of the PTA, Peiyu will support the PTA President and will ensure relevant meetings are well organized. She will dedicate herself to the PTA and wishes to build a smooth communication between parents and school.

Doreen is in charge of arranging all the PTA classes. Learning never stops, we learn from each other. Parents share knowledge with other parents is encouraged in BCIS. Evelyn is in charge of updating the PTA web page. Like a journalist, her responsibility is to make people both inside and outside the school know what is new in the PTA，and what our community life is really like. Na is a full-time working mom with two kids in BCIS. She has been with BCIS for 9 years and has been a part of the PTA for 7 years. Her responsibility in the PTA now is to take charge of library opening on Saturday morning，to help BCIS families get the most benefit from our community. Dr. Vrushali is the mother of Grade 5 student, Aadya. The family is from India and has been in Beijing for 8 years.

However, this is their first year at BCIS. Dr. Vrushali is a working professional with interest in social activities. She was also an active parent at other international schools. She loves dancing and traveling, and is looking forward to contribute in BCIS PTA activities in all possible ways.

Gulshoda and her daughter have newly joined BCIS, and come from Malta. Previously she has lived in China for almost 10 years, so she is fluent in Chinese as well.

She is excited to dedicate her free time to help the BCIS community to grow and to make it a better place for the children.
