BCIS SPIRIT SHINES THROUGH

Dennis Wang

This challenging time has impacted the lives of Beijing City International School (BCIS) community members in a variety of ways. Yet our community, through teaching and learning and personal bonds, has taken this opportunity to strengthen the connectedness that defines our BCIS family. Our students and families lie at the center of BCIS. In this difficult time, they have been our focus in ensuring that we can continue to nurture students' learning online and provide a safe learning environment for students and families.

Students, families, teachers and staff may find themselves separated by time zone and location but stay connected through technology and community links. The strength of our community lies with the members who make it, and we cannot be prouder of the outpouring of support and love that we have seen over the past few weeks.

Being connected is a crucial element of our online learning approach, but it is also definitive of our BCIS spirit. As the situation develops, we want the entire BCIS community to remain positive and connected in as many ways as possible. We are here for you, and we are here for each other.
